Ajman Free Zone Promotes Opportunities for French Investors

Ajman Free Zone in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) recently sent a delegation to Lyon, France, to talk to business leaders and officials about the investment opportunities available in the UAE, particularly the emirate of Ajman. Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashimi, Director General of Ajman Free Zone, said during a speech to businesspeople and investors at the Hilton Lyon Hotel: “The Ajman Free Zone opens its doors to French business by providing all the necessary facilities and the preparations that assures to the investors that the best products and services are provided to them with investment opportunities and advantages in the emirate of Ajman.” He added that Ajman Free Zone seeks to establish long-term economic cooperation between the UAE and France. “The future growth opportunities in the UAE are unprecedented as the main investors coming from all over the world have realized the enormous economic potential that abounds in the state and its role as a center that offers a distinct connecting service through air and sea ports, backed by a strong infrastructure,” Al Hashimi said. The business incentives offered by Ajman Free Zone include total exemption from all import and export duties, no personal income tax, and no corporate tax. 100 percent foreign ownership is permitted. The free zone is undergoing an expansion worth millions of dirhams and covering an area of more than one million square meters.
